What sits underneath the finish
- 150 × 150 mm chengal posts on galvanised post anchors, set into 600 mm reinforced footings
- Mortise & tenon main beams, draw-bored with seasoned dowel
- Cedar shingle roof or grey clay tile, your choice — both with breathable underlay
- Optional integrated drip line for hanging baskets
- Optional 240V wiring chase pre-installed for dimmable festoon lighting
Lead time and what to expect
From a signed quote, allow six to eight working weeks for the Compact and Family sizes; eight to ten for Garden and Estate. We schedule the site work in two-day windows and avoid weeks when the long-range forecast threatens four straight days of rain.
Post anchors are set on day one and cured for forty-eight hours before the timber arrives. Most rectangular gazebos go up in three working days, with a final hand-finish day on top.
Quick answers
Can I add half-walls or a screened section?
Yes — we offer slatted half-walls for privacy and full insect-screen panels for evening use. Both are designed to be removable for cleaning.
Will it cope with the wet season?
The roof pitch (28°) and 350 mm overhang are sized for Klang Valley monsoon rates. We’ve had zero leak callbacks on rectangular gazebos installed since 2016.
Do I need authority approval?
Most municipalities treat detached timber pavilions under 18 m² as ancillary, but we’ll confirm with your local council before quoting and supply any drawings needed.
